Natural Dog Photography

I'm Nigel Costen, a professional Award winning photographer specialising in dog portraiture. Forget stuffy studio portaits though, my images focus on photographing dogs in their natural environment, the great outdoors.

Over the years I've been photographing dogs I've found that the best images are created when the dogs and their owners are relaxed, that's very rarely in a photographic studio full of scary looking equipment and strange new smells.

As a result I now photograph dogs exclusively in outdoor settings using only natural light. Not only do the dogs enjoy it far more, so do I! I'll capture beautiful portraits of your four-legged friend and some amazing action shots of your dog having fun.

Whether on the beach, in the woods or on a windswept hillside we can arrange a session to suit your taste and your dog's preferred environment.

I believe that this approach results in far more of your dog's personality and character showing through in the final images. No more of those those stereotypical, heavily staged studio photos.
